OUR STORY

GET LOST CANDLE CO. is a family-owned small business based in beautiful Clearwater, Florida.

It is a venture that all started because a girl loved a boy and a boy loved a girl, and they realized they weren't spending enough time together. They worked too much and needed to get lost in ANYTHING other than work.

Lost in their daydreams.

Lost in a good movie or book.

Lost in conversation.

Lost in the rhythm of their favorite music.

Lost in singing and dancing to said music!

Lost in a lonnnnnng, relaxing shower or bath.

Lost in a good cry (because life is hard sometimes).

Lost in cooking up some comfort food.

Lost in writing the books they hope to publish one day.

Lost in any number of things that would help them feel found.

So, they started carving out time to get lost in the joy of doing something really fun and interesting together that would make everything mentioned above that much more awesome… they decided to get lost in the joy of making their very own candles, and they loved it!

Soon, they started getting lost in learning the science behind soy candle-making and began testing… and experimenting… and retesting... and doing everything necessary to perfect their craft.

Several months later, that boy and girl (our owners Joe and Debbie) realized they had made some really awesome candles but that these candles had taken over their home! It was time to open a candle shop and share their creations with the world.

As a result, Get Lost Candle Co was born. If you are here, you are now family, and we thank you for being part of our story!

QUALITY MATTERS TO US

We put a lot of time into testing our candles' wicks, waxes, and fragrance levels to ensure that the end product has an even burn and ensuring that they have an appropriate scent throw.

These measures help to:

• minimize the chances of tunneling (an uneven burn that creates a puddle straight down the middle of the candle)

• help to provide a longer burn time, and

• help to ensure that the fragrance fills but does not overpower the room. 

You can rest assured that our candles are of the highest quality.​

• Use 100% cotton wicks (lead free)

• Hand-poured in small batches to maintain quality
